AIG Women's Open tee times: Nelly Korda and Haeran Ryu grouped together as Charley Hull faces late-early draw at Royal Lytham & St Annes

World No 1 Nelly Korda has been handed a star-studded grouping with back-to-back major winner Haeran Ryu for the first two rounds of the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

Korda won the Chevron Championship and US Women's Open before Ryu claimed the KPMG Women's PGA Championship and the Amundi Evian Championship, the first time in history that two players have secured multiple majors in a season.

Either could become the first player since Inbee Park in 2013 to win three majors in a calendar year, with Ryu - chasing a third consecutive major - out at 8.42am alongside Korda and 2024 champion Lydia Ko.

Lottie Woad is also in early action as she bids to become the first Englishwoman to win a major since Georgia Hall in 2018, also at this venue, with the world No 5 grouped alongside Aki Iwai and American Andrea Lee.

Both marquee threeballs will be part of Featured Group coverage on Thursday, with coverage live on Sky Sports Golf from 9am, while defending champion Miyu Yamashita is on the opposite side of the draw.

Yamashita is bidding to become the first back-to-back winner of a women's major since Yani Tseng, with the Japanese star starting at 1.15pm alongside world No 2 Jeeno Thitikul and Lauren Coughlin.

Charley Hull is also on the late-early half of the draw, as she looks to build on two runner-up finishes in the last three years at this event, with the Englishwoman partnering Hannah Green and Brooke Henderson.

England's Alice Hewson will hit the opening tee shot at 6.30am on Thursday, with a one-tee start in operation for the 144-woman field. The tournament is also the final qualifying event for European players trying to feature in the Solheim Cup.

Team Europe will feature the top two players in the European Solheim Cup Team points standings and the next six available players in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings not already eligible, with Anna Nordqvist then naming four captain's picks live on Sky Sports News on Monday.
