Carabao Cup third-round draw: Liverpool host Tottenham with as many as six all-Premier League ties

Liverpool will host Tottenham in the third round of the Carabao Cup, while Manchester United face Brighton as one of a potential six all-Premier League ties.

Spurs travel to Anfield in the competition for the second time in three seasons, having lost 4-1 on aggregate to the Reds in the semi-finals of the tournament in 2024/25.

The ties will be played on the weeks commencing September 7 and September 14.

The nine Premier League sides in Europe - Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sunderland and Crystal Palace - all come in for the third round.
