Mohamed Salah: Former Liverpool forward set to join Turkish club Trabzonspor on free transfer after leaving Anfield

Mohamed Salah is set to join Turkish side Trabzonspor on a free transfer after mutually agreeing to terminate his Liverpool contract a year early.

Salah ended a nine-year spell at Anfield by cutting short the terms he had agreed in April 2025 after a difficult season for the 34-year-old, which saw him dropped and publicly fall out with then Liverpool head coach Arne Slot.
